The booking deadline of Friday 10 July for the Old Westcliffian Association Centenary celebration on Saturday 12 September 2026 is fast approaching.

We would like to thank those who have already booked for your support.  If you have not yet secured your place, we advise purchasing tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.  A discount is available for group bookings, and concessionary rates for children and those in full-time education.

Past and present pupils, staff, families, and friends are warmly invited to join us as we celebrate 100 years of the Old Westcliffian community.

This promises to be a memorable occasion, bringing together generations of Westcliffians to celebrate.

The afternoon will commence at 12.30pm with guest arrival, registration and the distribution of the Souvenir Programmes. Welcome drinks will be served in the Humanities Forum accompanied by background music performed by students.

Between 12.30pm and 2.40pm, guests can explore the School through guided tours led by Prefects, or independently using the map provided in the programme. Curated historical displays will be set up across the site. Additionally, a selection of short films will play on a loop in the Lecture Theatre, featuring a 2020 WHSB documentary, the premier of 1985 Film Club shorts, and interviews with wartime Belper evacuees. The Combined Cadet Force (CCF) will also parade on the South Drive and provide a naval gun carriage display at intervals between 1.00pm to 2.40pm.

Guests will move to the Main Hall at 2.40pm, with a professionally catered tea served at 3.00pm alongside further musical entertainment. The afternoon will include the unveiling of a commemorative Centenary plaque, followed by remarks from OWA President Terry Birdseye and the Headmaster Mike Skelly.

Afternoon tea will conclude around 4.30pm, after which tours and film screenings will resume. A pay-bar will be available throughout the afternoon, and the event will close at 5.30pm.
